DeA Capital, listed on the Milan Stock Exchange, is De Agostini Group's vehicle for alternative investments. De Agostini S.p.A. is the controlling shareholder, with a 58.3% stake.

DeA Capital carries out private equity investments:

• Direct investment in qualified minority or majority stakes in companies operating in the services sector in Europe, with a medium-to long-term horizon. Its current main investments are Générale de Santé and Migros Turk;
• Indirect investments in private equity funds and funds of funds, mainly managed by IdeA Alternative Investments.

DeA Capital is also active in Alternative Asset Management, through:

• IDeA Fimit SGR is DeA Capital's arm in the Real estate asset management. With around € 9.0 bln under management it is Italy's leader in RE asset management. DeA Capital controls the majority of the capital and benefits from the presence in the shareholder base of Italy's main public pension funds (INPDAP, ENPALS, INARCASSA, ENASARCO).

• IDeA Capital Funds SGR is DeA Capital's arm in the Private Equity fund management business, one of its key strategic priorities. DeA Capital fully controls IDeA, which focuses on funds of funds and thematic funds, with AuM at around € 1.2 bln.
